NEW HEIDEROOSJES VIDEO SHOT!

Last week Heideroosjes shot a video for the upcoming single 'Damclub Hooligan'. It's a Dutch song about a very silly guy who thinks he a real hooligan. But that's only in his mind. In reality he's the only supporter of a draughts-club for old people. It's a very funny video and even kids-without-a-sense-of-humor can't hide a smile when seeing it. The single will be released 5 December but the video will be available half November. We'll keep you posted about it.....

HR APPEAR ON ANNIVERSARY-CD OF TERRORGRUPPE

German funniest and best looking (?) punkband TERRORGRUPPE exists for 10 years now. To celebrate this they release a compilation-album full of friend-bands. This CD will be in stores at 14 April. Heideroosjes appear with a German version of their song 'Nothing's Wrong', which is changed into 'Was Soll Sein'. (You can also download this song somewhere on this website). Other bands on the anniversary-album are No FX, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Swingin Utters, Lagwagon,Bouncing Souls and more. Check out www.terrorgruppe.com for all the news.

Marco sings on Misfits tribute-album.

Recently Marco recorded vocals for a Misfits-tribute album which will be released in Februari 2003. The project is called Teenagers From Mars and is organised by Maurice Gijsbers (Right Direction). A Dutch 'allstar-band' recorded the songs and different vocalists do the singing part (oa singers of Uppercut, Backfire, Discipline and Tech 9). Marco sings 'I Turned Into A Martyr'. Gangstyle Records (www.gangstylerecords.com) will release the album.

HR sings in German?!

Recently the Dutch Music Foundation (Conamus) asked Heideroosjes to contribute a song for a new cd-project. The idea behind this cd-project is Dutch bands doing one song in German language. Heideroosjes choosed to translate 'Nothing's Wrong' into 'Was Soll Sein'. Next year (date not know yet) the compilation-cd will be released in Germany. It's mainly to promote Dutch bands in Germany. Other Dutch acts who contribute with a song are The Scene, Herman Brood (rip) and De Dijk. We'll keep you posted about a release-data but you can check out the song right now on this site!
