What is Ramroosjes?
Behind this name is a bunch of music-lovers. Their goal; have fun and keep the musical legacy of American punkrockers The Ramones alive. Ramroosjes plays only cover-songs of The Ramones. 30 songs in one-hour-and-fifteen-minutes. Of course every song will be introduced by the famous “one, two,three, four” yell!

Who is Ramroosjes?
Four guys who play together for 16 years now, and are better known for their other band called ‘HEIDEROOSJES’. In the year 2000 this band did a Ramones-cover-tour through Holland. That was a very positive experience for them. In the years after, the band got several offers to play this Ramones-tribute again but they refused. Till now..

Why Ramroosjes?
Heideroosjes don’t play many live-shows this year. That’s a confident decision because they toured their asses off last year. From USA till entire Europe, the Heideroosjes toured it all. This year Heideroosjes didn’t want to be seen in every club or festival. They want to use this year to work on new songs. There’s only one problem: they can’t resist the kick of performing live on stage! And that’s why the idea of Ramroosjes came up. So the guys can play live with something different than Heideroosjes.

Ramroosjes for all your parties?
Ehm, NO. The concerts that Ramroosjes will play at the end of this year are the only Ramroosjes-shows. Afterwards the guys will continue working with Heideroosjes and Ramroosjes will be put in a fridge again. But who knows……
